By Xu Lili Updated: 2015-08-12
A total of 168 buses in Zhanjiang's Potou district were equipped with first-aid boxes on Aug 11, which were donated by the Center for Community Health Promotion of the Affiliated Hospital of Guangdong Medical College.
"Passengers can learn first-aid methods and procedures according to first aid guide books on each bus. There will also be QR codes that provide videos and articles about first aid," said Pan Xinhai, a member of the Center.
"We will release an MV that combines first-aid methods with music in October this year. It will be broadcast on buses. We will also give first-aid training to bus drivers and replace the first-aid medication regularly," Pan added.
There are 16 bus routes and 168 buses in Potou district, covering 66 villages, according to Zhan Ping, director of Potou transportation bureau. "We will install first-aid boxes on tourist buses in the next stage," Zhan said.
