On 22 December, 2015, at the membership conference of Chinese Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Uganda hosted by the Economic and Commercial Counsellor's Office, Embassy of China in Uganda, CGGC was granted "Corporate Social Responsibility Award" for its excellent corporate social responsibility initiatives. Zhao Yali, Ambassador of China to Uganda, awarded the medal to the responsible person of CGGC’s representative office in Uganda.
At the conference, Zhao spoke highly of CGGC's performance on infrastructure construction tasks since its entry into the Ugandan market. Meanwhile, he briefed participants on CGGC's achievements in Uganda, such as donations to schools, assistance to the "the Northern Corridor" Summit for the multinational economic integration in East Africa. He also commended CGGC's determination to take root in Uganda as well as its outstanding contributions to deepening the bilateral friendship.
CGGC showed its gratitude to the Embassy, the Economic and Commercial Counsellor's Office and Chinese Enterprise Chamber of Commerce for their continuous support and assistance, while expressing its determination to deeply explore Ugandan market and bring benefits to Ugandan people with its consistent development philosophy of "fairness, good faith, win-win" and high responsibility.
