On 20 November, 2015, CGGC (Ghana) Co., Ltd. was invited to attend China-Ghana Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum in Kumasi to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the establishment of China-Ghana Diplomatic Relation. Sun Baohong, Ambassador of China to Ghana, and Kojo Bonsu, Mayor of Kumasi, attended the activity and made speeches.

It was reported that China-Ghana Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum was sponsored by the Chinese Embassy in Ghana and co-hosted by Chinese Enterprise Chamber of Commerce in Ghana. It aimed to set up a platform of communication and interaction between Chinese and Ghana enterprises to create more business opportunities. As one of outstanding representatives of the Chinese enterprises in Ghana, CGGC made a keynote speech and set a display case at the forum site which fully showcased the powerful strength, proud achievements and favorable corporate image of CGGC to all guests.
Ambassador Sun Baohong and Mayor of Kumasi both delivered speeches and highly praised CGGC’s plenty of effective work to boost implementation of Ghana Kpong Water Supply Expansion Project and its contribution to Ghana’s social and economic development. They hoped that, with joint efforts of all guests, China's investment in Ghana would stimulate further improvement in this country and their cooperation would enrich both of them much more.
The forum was attended by over 200 delegates from Embassy of China in Ghana, Ghana Trade and Industrial Department, Ghana Ashanti Region Government, Ghana Kumasi Government, Ghana National Chamber of Commerce, Ghana Industry Association, China-Ghana Friendship Association, Chinese Enterprise Chamber of Commerce in Ghana, Ghana Chinese Chamber Commerce, Federation of Fujian Overseas Chinese in Ghana, China-Canada Trade Association and China Mining Industry Association in Ghana.
