Gansu province's first privately-funded science museum, the Jubo Science Museum, opened to the public in Zhangye city on April 7, allowing many children to experience science and technology.

The museum exhibits hi-tech products, provides scientific training and education and enables children to take part in experiments.

It aims at cultivating children's interests in science and technology, according to staff members.
