Taiwan's Chung Mei Pharmaceutical Co. and the Hong Kong Chinese Medicine Service Centre showed an interest and some companies reached preliminary cooperation agreements with Gansu companies.
Gansu had more than 160 TCM products and more than 40 types of food on display, and the Lanzhou Xukang Pharmaceutical Co. sold more than HK$200,000 ($25,800) worth of goods, including TCM materials and products such as Chinese angelica and codonopsis pilosula.
Another company, Baiyin city's Hubo Yuanguo Farmer Cooperative signed a supply agreement worth 100,000 yuan with Hong Kong University for Chinese jujubes and wolfberries.
Gansu had five booths to display its products at the Exhibition, which is an international event of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and the Modernized Chinese Medicine International Association.
