Auction to fund Love Wardrobe

An auction designed to raise funds for children in remote and mountainous areas will be held by the charity Love Wardrobe in Lanzhou, Gansu province, in June.

The cash will be used on a project called "Warm Heart, New Clothes", said organizers, who have raised 22.65 million yuan ($3.7 million) since the charity was founded in June 2011.

The auction will be attended by leading society figures from Gansu. The charity has raised cash through various events in recent years and has spent the money on warm clothes and education projects.
