Lanzhou Library to hold lantern riddle contest for Spring Festival

Lanzhou Library, in the city of Lanzhou, Gansu province, is to hold the "30th lantern riddle contest" on March 3. The contest, which will be held between 10:00 am - 4:30 pm, is being held to celebrate the Spring Festival.

Participants able to excel at solving the riddles will receive prizes and several experts will be present to explain the lantern riddles for the participants.

People can also log into the Lanzhou Library's website to participate in online lantern riddle contest on March 3-5.

The riddles involve a range of subjects, with 20 online riddles concerning Gansu's local cultural characteristics.
