Modern Beijing Wen Shiren drama in Beijing

There was a performance of the modern Peking opera Wen Shiren at the China Pingju Theatre, in Beijing, on Dec 31, which offers tales of Wen Shiren, a Taiwan businessman who donated a lot of money to help people living in poverty.
Wen, who was vice-president of Inventec, which is an IP company with HQ in Taipei, started a project called "talent in villages and towns" and provided $50 million in funding for students in northern China, and said that he was hoping to see more talented people in the software business in that part of China. He also visited Gansu province many times, and provided funds for the village of Huangyanchuan there to help locals get out of poverty. It drama is the creation of some artists from the Gansu Peking Opera Theatre.
