Lanzhou Lianhai Economic Development Zone’s Yongdeng Park

Covering an area of 4.14 square kilometers, Lanzhou Lianhai Economic Development Zone’s Yongdeng Park has 12 enterprises; five of them are above designated size. Its enterprises have a total value of 6.26 billion yuan ($1 billion), including Chalco’s Liancheng branch and Datang Liancheng Power Co.

The zone’s major products are electrolytic aluminum, ferroalloy, silicon products and thermal power.

New projects in recent years include a casting project with an annual output of 250,000 tons and a project that will eliminate 388,000 tons of backwards production facilities per year. They are both backed by Chalco’s Liancheng branch with 530 million yuan and 4.09 billion yuan, respectively. Average investment has reached 2.72 million yuan per mu.

The park enjoys convenient transportation, including Provincial Highway 301, Yongyao Road and the Liancheng - Haishiwan Railway. It has modern communication facilities as well as rich personnel, material and information resources.
