Gansu launches preschool education supervision and assessment

Preschool education supervision and assessment will be a part of the education objectives during the annual assessment of city and prefecture governments and part of the supervision and evaluation of county-level government education work, according to the Gansu Department of Education on Sept 25.

Preschool education development will be an important part of the assessment of education performance of governments at the city, prefecture and county levels.

According to a trial implementation plan of preschool education supervision and assessment, preschool education supervision and assessment has six aspects, covering government responsibilities, funding and team construction. It will focus on the implementation of the preschool three-year plan in cities, prefectures and counties from 2013 to 2014.
