China's National Beach Volleyball Tournament finished in Pingtan, Fujian province, on May 21.

As the second stop of the tour, it was the first time for Pingtan to hold such a high-profile national game. A total of 56 professional teams from across the country competed on Longfengtou Beach, the largest natural bathing beach in China, from May 18 to 21.

Shanghai men's team and Xinjiang women's team stood out and seized the titles in the finals on May 21.

Nearly all the 1,200 spectator seats were taken up on the final day, according to Chen Pengcheng, deputy director of Pingtan Bureau of Social Affairs, adding that a total of over 10,000 spectators came to the four-day event.
