As an integral part of Pingtan’s public transportation, public bikes shall offer local citizens an eco-friendly way to get around, further alleviating traffic congestion in the city, according to Weng Jianfeng, deputy president of Pingtan Haixiatong Co.
In order to prevent the public bikes from being sabotaged or stolen, surveillance cameras have been installed around the rental stations, Weng added.
