The ceremony mixing singing, dancing and fashion shows brought festivalgoers a final visual treat after two weeks of fun on the island city in Fujian province.

Starting on April 21, the high-flying festival offered nearly 4,000 local citizens and visitors the chance to take off from famous Pingtan attractions to see the city from a new perspective.

The activities held on the sidelines of the fiesta, which included concerts and water sports stunt shows, also gained a wide popularity with around 10,000 people taking part.
