A total of 293 official vehicles in Pingtan, Fujian province, are being marked with an official vehicle logo and telephone number, Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone has announced.

The move, which is scheduled to be completed by the end of March, is designed to strengthen the control and supervision of the use of official vehicles in the city.

"The official vehicle logo and supervisory telephone number (0591-23176116) painted on the front doors of each car will make the vehicles more easily identified by the public, which is conducive to the long-term management of the vehicles," said an official from the pilot zone.
