A delegation from Fujian Media Group headed by its chairman Zhang Zongyun visited the Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone (PCPZ) on Sept 6, to discuss further cooperation in the area.

Lin Wenyao, director of PCPZ's administrative committee, welcomed the delegates and thanked the group for its support to Pingtan.

Lin expressed his hope that the two sides would join hands to promote Pingta's cultural industry and increase its national and global exposure, helping the zone reach its goal of becoming an international tourist destination.

Zhang Zongyun vowed to continue to support Pingtan and urged the two sides to work out a cooperation plan as soon as possible.

Established in 2004, Fujian Media Group consists of Fujian People's Broadcast Station, the major local broadcaster in Fujian province, Fujian Film Studio and Fujian TV and other outlets.
