The Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone, Fujian province, recently hosted a meeting to discuss school-enterprise cooperation in tourism, which is considered a win-win for both sides.

The meeting is a joint effort of the Pingtan tourism development bureau, Pingtan Tourism Association and Fuzhou Tourism Vocational School, aiming to help the zone reach its goal of becoming an international tourist destination.

The participants brainstormed ways to strengthen the training of tourism professionals, and improve the quality and service of local tourism workers.

At the meeting, the Pingtan Association and the Fuzhou Tourism Vocational School reached a cooperation deal in establishing an internship base for graduates majoring in tourism and launching various training activities for tourism professionals.
