A 10-second tourism advertising film about Pingtan, Fujian province is being aired on China Central Television (CCTV) as of April 21, according to ptnet.cn.
The film is available on three CCTV channels – CCTV-1, CCTV-2, and CCTV-4.
The film captures Pingtan's characteristic elements and rich tourism resources, featuring Tannan Bay, stone folk dwellings, kite surfing, the Shipaiyang scenic spot, and Haixia, a high-speed passenger ferry shuttle service between Pingtan and Taiwan.
Chen Lin, staff member of the local tourism development bureau, said that the film will help to increase the area's national exposure and introduce its beautiful landscape to more people, in the hope of contributing to its goal of becoming an international tourist destination.

CCTV-1: at about 6:52 pm from April to October
CCTV-2: before the Business Review program, from April to October
CCTV-4: at about 8:00 pm from May to October
