A delegation of the Liaoning provincial government, headed by Deputy Governor Bing Zhigang, made a visit to the Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone (PCPZ) in Fujian province on March 10 to investigate its development.

The guests briskly toured a number of key projects such as the No 2 customs checkpoint, Haitan Ancient City, the Haixia Ferry Terminal and the Pingtan-Taiwan Duty-Free Commodity Market.

After the inspection, the guests said they were impressed with Pingtan’s development progress. They hope it can continue to play a lead role in reform and innovation, and expand its opening-up scale.
