The launching ceremony went on in traditional Dutch way. Three ladies in fabulous costumes released the ropes tying champagnes which hit the ships’ bodies. These three vessels including tugs and marine salvage ship are going to be handed over to VROON in December this year.

Fujian Mawei shipbuilding LTD, a quite vital shipyard in southern part of China, was found in 1866 and later became one of the state run enterprises featuring in ship building. Though being faced with global economic downturn, it still has achieved a lot with 3.5 billion yuan injected and numbers of contracts in hands. Yesterday afternoon, Mawei shipbuilding LTD won another contract with VROON to build three more vessels.
