According to the organizing committee of this expo, all the preparatory works are under way and all the participants has arrived in Fuzhou, ready to launch their “landing mission” for the purpose of enhancing the cooperation across the Straits in terms of commerce, culture and the protection of fishing resources.

Sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture of China, Fujian municipality and some other sections and authorities concerned, the fifth Cross-Straits Fishing Expo (the 2010 Cross-Straits Fishing Week) is to involve numerous activities and exhibitions related to the fishing industry.

Over 500 stands, 200 participants will stage their own “shows” on different themes, such as the fishing devices and facilities, seafood and fishing logistics and so on.
