The 2010 Pan-Pearl River Delta Region Chief Executives’ Joint Meeting was held on August 29th in Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian province.

Chaired by Huang Xiaojing, the director of Fujian province, this joint meeting was attended by the deputy directors across pan-pearl river delta region, including the government officials from Hong Kong and Macao Special Administration Regions.

This meeting among the chief executives themed on “promoting the development of pan-pearl river delta region and the fifth 12-year plan for the development of national economy”. The principles, measures and approaches together with the mechanism which aim to enhance cooperation within this area have been fixed. The minutes of 2010 Pan-Pearl River Delta Region Chief Executives’ Joint Meeting was signed there.

The 7th PPRD Economic Cooperation Forum will be held in Jiangxi province, China, which is also another decision made by this joint meeting.
