Compared to the number of people who crossed the border of China through Fuzhou airport inspection station last year, there has been a surge in the number of people who take the direct flight to travel across the Straits, with the number reaching 91,494, nine times more than before.

The number of flights and passengers crossing the Straits reached 2,659 and 337,917, increasing by 30 percent and 42 percent, respectively. The Fuzhou airport inspection station opened two new channels on July 30 to relieve some of the pressure on checking.

In order to provide comfortable service to visitors, the Fuzhou airport inspection station sent some of its staff to collect suggestions from 16 enterprises, including airliners, the enterprises from Chinese Taiwan and some travel agencies.

The increasing number of flights is just one example of the prosperous travel market. Right now the travelling industry is flourishing all the time.
