The 2010 summer session of the Cross-straits Nature Discovery Camp began on July 12, with fourteen Taiwan students and 16 Fuzhou students participating.
At the opening ceremony at Fuzhou Science & Technology Museum, one of the organizers invited the students for a visit. It offered an exhibition about the low-carbon Expo to inform the students of a green lifestyle and the latest clean-up technologies and application of new energy sources. The students were curious about those projects and experienced them with obvious enjoyment.
They then planted a tree in the museum in a showcase of the evergreen friendship between students on both sides of the Strait.
