More than 3,000 festive lanterns set in dedicated zones in Jinjiang city, East China's Fujian province were lit up on Lantern Festival, which falls on Feb 19 this year and marks the end of the Chinese Lunar New Year celebrations.
The zones included the Wudianshi historical community, Century park and Mingyue park in the city.
It is reported that Wudianshi historical community alone has over 1,000 lanterns, the majority of which are made by students.
