The 2018 Cross-Straits Entrepreneurs Summit was held in Xiamen, East China's Fujian province from Dec 4 to 5.
The summit, since its inception in 2013, has served as one of the most significant non-governmental platforms for cross-Straits business cooperation and exchanges.
This year, more than 1,000 guests from the mainland and Taiwan, which include execs, business organization leaders as well as some representatives from SMEs and startups attended the conference.
An integral part of the summit, a sub-forum that aims to further cross-Straits integration and cooperation in the fields of modern services and creative culture was convened, with 30 entrepreneurs from both sides of the Strait exploring the possibilities on collaboration in the sectors including culture and creation, trade and logistics, as well as sports leisure and tourism.
A total of six cooperation deals were inked during the forum, covering the sectors culture and creation, film and television, e-commerce, trade and logistics. The worth of deals concerning commerce and trade topped 400 million yuan ($58.37 million), official data show.
