The 2018 Cross-Straits Workers' Cycling Race hit the road in Pingtan, East China's Fujian province on April 22.
Located off the coast of Fujian, Pingtan is the closest place on the mainland to Taiwan.
Roughly 700 cyclists, 400 of them from Taiwan, took part in the 12-kilometer race.
Contestants Yang Jing and Zhang Li took the men's junior road and senior road titles while Huang Nuantang won the men's mountain. As for the women's group, the title went to Cai Yayu.
The event, which celebrates its fifth edition this year, aims to promote a green and low-carbon lifestyle and offer a platform to boost integrated development between the mainland and Taiwan.
