To celebrate the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Wuyi Square, a landmark in Fuzhou, provincial capital of South China's Fujian province has been given a facelift with decorations of red lanterns, flowers and national flags.
According to a staffer working at the Square, a total of 35,000 pots of flowers themed on the Congress and 1,000 national flags have already been placed around the Square.
Additionally, light shows will also be staged at the square to promote the huge political event which is held every five years.
