Apple (China) Co, a subsidiary of the global fashion brand, Apple Group, launched its Autumn/Winter 2017 smart clothing collection on April 26, during Shishi Fashion Week.
The collection was designed in collaboration with Guangdong province’s top designer, Shi Shengjie, and Smart Clothing Technology Co.
With the application of graphene in fabrics, the specially designed clothes can realize constant temperature through far-infrared technology. The company also presented smart sportswear items that offer real time monitoring of motion and physical health data to offer guidance on exercise.
This new runway show merging fashion with smart technology was the continuation of the clothing brand’s constant innovation over more than 20 years. Apple China is headquartered in Guangzhou, Guangdong province. It owns 12 affiliated enterprises and 3,200 stores in China, supplying clothes, shoes, leather goods and furniture. Its parent company, Apple Group, operates in branding, production, franchising and media.
Apple (China) signed up to a long-term strategic partnership with the fashion week on its opening day. The fashion week also signed agreements to collaborate with fashion industry portal Diction and the independent designers’ network, Weran Fashion. Joining forces, the four parties formed a new model for a fashion week that incorporates runways, trade shows and business matching.
