"Pilot Free Trade Zone" has become a buzz word regarding Fujian's economic and social development in 2015.

Since its inauguration on Apr 21, the Fujian Pilot Free Trade Zone has highlighted innovation with 49 measures introduced for the first time in China.

The provincial work report made at the fourth session of the 12th Fujian Provincial People's Congress on Jan 11 showed that the Fujian pilot FTZ had carried out 126 innovative measures, 49 being the first in the nation.

The FTZ has been focusing on satisfying companies' demands and has piloted a "three-in-one certificate" program that integrates the business license, the certificate of organization codes and the certificate of taxation registration into one certificate, in an attempt to simplify the process for registered capital.

The FTZ also provides faster customs-clearing services for goods from Taiwan, with clearance time shortened to 1 to 2 days from 5 to 7 days.

In addition, Fujian has offered strong support to the FTZ. The province has approved 80 percent of administrative applications by the zone. A total of 30 innovative measures of the FTZ have been promoted around the province.
