Quanzhou puppet troupe shined on the "Inheritor," a reality show on Beijing Television to promote traditional culture.

The puppet shows amazed the four judges and audiences and were selected unanimously as the best performance on the reality show. The troupe will soon represent China at the UN headquarters in New York.

The puppet shows featured four puppets modelled on the four judges and included lion dancing and Xiao Pingguo (little apple), a famous square dance in China.

The "Inheritor" invites traditional cultural inheritors around the country to perform on TV with the hope of preserving and promoting Chinese traditional culture.

The program will air on Beijing Television in January, 2016.
