Fujian province is planning some key projects to promote the brand of the Maritime Silk Road, according to a recent statement from the cultural authorities.

A digital cultural platform will combine resources of the library, museum, cultural museum, art gallery, memorial hall and archives to offer Maritime Silk Road information.

In addition to mounting an exhibition tour of Maritime Silk Road cultural relics around ASEAN countries, the authorities will focus on producing and promoting a series of Fujian-featured art performances themed on Maritime Silk Road culture.

Cultural projects including a Fuzhou Maritime Silk Road Exhibition Hall and a Pingtan Archaeological Park are also planned.
