Vice Premier Liu Yandong, announces the start of the first National Youth Games at the opening ceremony held at the Haixia Olympic Sports Center in Fuzhou, Fujian province, Oct 18. The NYG is the largest sports meeting ever in Fujian, with more than 7,900 athletes aged between 13 to 21 from 80 cities competing from Oct 18 to 27.
