Police and educational authorities in Nan’an city, East China’s Fujian province are investigating a student bullying case involving three female teenagers, local media reported Monday.

In a video leaked online, a schoolgirl is seen slapped on the face for more than 20 times by two bigger female abusers. The bullying lasted over three and a half minutes and the girl did not fight back.

The girl’s father noticed the video and reported to police immediately on Sunday.

“I was shocked seeing my daughter in the video. She never brought it up at home,” said the father, surnamed Li.

The bullying occurred at around 1 pm on June 17, according to the victim Xiao Ling (alias), who is a 12-year-old fifth grader

Xiao recalled that she was stopped by a bunch of students on her way to school and took a beating.

“I was so frightened that I didn’t dare run or scream. And I didn’t know any of them.”

Police launched a probe into the case and found the two bullies, who are two middle school students. But police declined to reveal more details.
