Pingtan, Changhua look for cooperation

On the second day of their visits to the Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone, some 30 entrepreneurs from Changhua county in Taiwan showed stronger interest in settling in Pingtan.

At a seminar on March 15, Liu Wenying proposed to set up an office in Pingtan responsible for coordinating Pingtan-Changhua tourism matters and boosting each other’s tourism industries.

Cai Guihui, who owns an ecological farm that produces eggs in 70 different colors, said he hoped to build a factory in Pingtan.

Yu Jiachang said that the most attractive policy in Pingtan for Taiwan entrepreneurs is the fast customs clearance.

Liang Zhijie, an official of Changhua’s business promotion association, said he also expected to open a “Changhua Office” in Pingtan to handle business matters.
