Three workers in the Xiamen Division of the Third Construction Co of China Construction Third Engineering Bureau, have been helping their workmates from other places buy trains tickets home for the upcoming Spring Festival on Feb 19.
Buying train tickets is a tight market every Spring Festival. New train ticket regulations stipulate that the online pre-sale period for tickets for the 2015 Spring Festival is prolonged to 60 days from 20, and the competition for ticket booking started in December, 2014.
Most of the 200 migrant workers in Xiamen Shimao Lakeside Garden construction site are not proficient at online bookings.
Cheng Long, a quality inspector, with Chen Zhiwei, the chief worker, and He Fuzhi, a sampler, formed a ticket buying team to help workmates buy train tickets. They have helped more than 100 workmates get their return tickets home.

Cheng Long, in his 20s, comes from Wuhan, Hubei province. His parents worked in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, and did not get train tickets back to Wuhan in the 2013 Spring Festival. He did not know how to book online then and he stayed at home alone during that festival. This year, he hopes to help all workmates avoid the same problem.
Now they can download ticket booking software onto their computers, which can automatically refresh the booking webpage and input security codes.
