Police in Xiamen city have apprehended a man who allegedly made an arson attack on a bus on Thursday morning, Jan 15.

The No.656 bus caught fire at 7:57 am near Caitang Primary School. At least 10 passengers got hurt, including two with burns. They are receiving treatment at a hospital, according to multiple media reports.
A knife-wielding man was running amok through the crowd when police arrived. He was subdued by police after injuring two passers-by.
The man, 53, surnamed Cai, had plotted the arson on the bus, according to witnesses. He was involved in another arson case at a food company earlier the same day, said police.
Huang was an employee at the company before being fired on Tuesday for theft.
The case is being investigated.
