An exhibition of precious relics from the Old Summer Palace, or Yuanmingyuan, is being staged at the Fujian Museum in Fuzhou city, Fuzhou News reported on Dec 30.
Themed “Rising of Yuanmingyuan”, the exhibition features a batch of cultural relics unearthed from the ruins of the imperial garden complex as well as replicas of 12 famous animal head bronze statues. There will be sand tables and picture-text panels, too.
The exhibition has been held in many overseas cities including Berlin, Paris, Liverpool and Moscow. It will run until March 30 in Fuzhou.
