The identities of four people killed in a gas explosion at a restaurant in Xiamen city, Fujian province on Nov 25, have been confirmed, according to the authorities.

Li Yangyang, female, born in 1968 in Changting county, Fujian province, resided in Hexiang West Road, Siming district, Xiamen.

Gao Huayu, female, born in 1956 in Pingtan county, Fujian province, also lived in Hexiang West Road, Siming district, Xiamen.

Wu Ronggui, male, born in 1973 in Putian city, Fujian province, resided in Bailu Road, Siming district, Xiamen.

Cai Baozhu, female, born in 1946, was another resident of Hexiang West Road, Siming district, Xiamen.

The blast occurred at around 8:30 am at the restaurant on the Humei Road in Siming district, killing three and injuring another four at the scene. The fourth victim died later in hospital.
