The three universities, the National Taiwan University of Arts, Fuzhou University and Xiamen University of Technology, have committed to expanding their collaboration based on the newly-signed “3+1” talents exchange project. It enables selected students from two of Fujian’s universities to extend their study and researches in the National Taiwan University of Art for one year after three years (two years for diploma students) of studying in Fujian. Students will get diplomas issued by the Chinese mainland universities and report cards from Taiwan after all semesters have been completed.

Ye Xiangping, a member of the Fujian Publicity Department of the Communist Party Committee and Hua Xiaoyong, general manager of Fujian Xinhua Distribution Co, signed a contract for purchasing books for students in rural areas and donating books to five primary schools in Xiamen. Representatives of the five schools accepted the books.
