The fifth Cross-Straits Children Painting Exhibition is now being held in Xiamen, Fujian province.

More than 500 painted works by children from the Chinese mainland and Taiwan are on display at the Xiamen Culture and Arts Centre. The event will run until Oct 19, opening free of charge to the public.

The exhibition covers a variety of subjects such as education, environmental protection and charity, aiming to wow the audience with the boundless creativity and imagination of children. It will be held in Beijing next month.
