The largest marine patrol vessel in Fujian province was delivered in Mawei district, Fuzhou, on June 23, with a view to monitoring maritime traffic safety and carrying out rescue work around the Taiwan Straits.

The Haixun 0805 is 64 meters long and 10.2 meters wide. The 720-ton vessel has a maximum sailing distance of 1,800 nautical miles without refueling, and its maximum sailing speed is 18 knots.
The ship has a small rescue ship on the first deck and a helipad on the second.
It is also equipped with a satellite communication system, radar system and global positioning system, enabling the vessel to conduct observation, monitoring, search and evidence collection work, said Liao Jianqing, deputy head of the Fujian Maritime Bureau.
