Maritime Silk Road photographic exhibition held in Fuzhou

A photographic exhibition themed around the “Maritime Silk Road – Past and Present” was held in the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys, a famous scenic spot in Fuzhou, capital of Fujian province, on June 7.

The exhibition, focusing on the historical development route of the maritime Silk Road, is open to the public and will last till June 13. It has been divided into two topics to show the historical route of the maritime silk road and its contemporary achievements.

The exhibition was one of the main activities of the 2014 World Oceans Day and has attracted many tourists and residents on the first day it was exhibited, with many thinking it was of great importance to get to know more about the maritime silk road.

The exhibition was co-organized by the State Oceanic Administration, Fujian provincial people’s government and the China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC).
