Ivy signs agreement with Surbana and Henderson Land

Ivy Group, which manages the premier Multiple Intelligences (MI) kindergartens in China, is pleased to announce the partnership with Surbana and Henderson Land to build kindergartens in Xi'an.

A press conference was held on September 20, 2009 to formally sign the agreement between Ivy Group, Singapore developer Surbana and Hong Kong developer Henderson Land to build world-class kindergartens in the "La Botanica" township. Ivy was represented by its CEO, Mr. Jack Hsu, and Surbana-Henderson was represented by its General Manager, Mr. Xie Hongwen in the signing.

"We are extremely excited to launch our program at the ancient capital city of Xian," commented Jack Hsu. "Xi'an, with its world famous universitiesis, is well known for being one of the most important educational and research centers in China. We are proud to be able to bring in the leading international standard in early education to Xian and to contribute to the community."

The first Ivy campus in Xi'an is scheduled to be opened in 2011. This campus will offer Ivy's MI curriculum with a balance of both English and Chinese environment. It is built to Ivy's specs and will have 13 classrooms with a total of 3200 square meters of indoor space and 2000 square meter of outdoor play and activity area.
