More Sino-US students exchanges expected
2009-Nov-24 17:50:19

US President Obama said American students in China will ascend to the number of 100,000 while communicating with Chinese youth at Shanghai Science & Technology Museum.

The next day, US president and Chinese president had a discussion on the cultural & education exchange (especially the youth exchange) in Beijing, and both sides agreed to establish the cultural & educational exchange mechanism and intensify the cooperation in students exchange.

Statistics from US's official department revealed that American students in China increased 25% in 2006-2007, and the number hit 11,064. In terms of luring overseas students and assisting them in studying and working in China, BiMBA continued engaging in education exploration and achieved prominent performance over past 10 years.

BiMBA, the earliest Sino-foreign MBA Project in Beijing, still silently stands in Peking University Lanrun Garden's Chinese-style courtyard featuring time-honoured history instead of merging into the uproarious business society, and it upholds the tenet of "Inheriting Peking University's Tradition, Creating Chinese Style, Following the World Pace, and Being the Global Tip-top" to foster entrepreneurs who keep pace with the national development.

Backed by the forceful National School of Development of Peking University, These entrepreneurs are receiving the pure western-style MBA education. While fixing eyes on China's macro economy, they also direct trainees to study prominent qualities of the servicemen from the West Point.

Also, they research enterprises from India and South Korea, in addition to introducing Sun Zi Bing Fa (the Art of War) and Guo Xue (Traditional Chinese Learning) into class. Regardless of ranking the top in varied evaluations by Forbes and Fortune, they always ponder the issue when China will cultivate the world-class business school.

BiMBA's knowledge to the internationalisation is not only limited to some hardware indexes like the proportion of international trainers and the recruiting sources, and it attaches more importance to the training of the trainees' international view, international thinking mode, and teamwork & team communication ability during the education course. Against the backdrop of economic globalization, more and more countries fix their eyes on booming Chinese market, and BiMBA also accelerated its step of developing towards internationalisation in 2009 and it strode forward along the comprehensive internationalisation in international students recruiting, curriculum setup, and talents recommendation and employment.
