ChangQuan:
Also known as the WaiJiaQuan means external or long fist. ChangQuan is a style of kung fu filled with energetic, fully-extended movements of kicks, punches, rises and falls which are particularly suitable for young practitioners. A lot of agility, stamina, and leg strength are needed to do this style. The basic Wushu movements were derived from ChangQuan movements.
Taiji Quan:
A Chinese martial art, which is based on the yin-yang principle. Thus when moving up one is always able to change and move down, moving to the left one is able to change and move to the right, defending one is ready to attack etc. This is why the movement in TaiJiQuan has a flowing quality that is never interrupted during the practice. Today TaiJiQuan is practiced more as a method for health rather than a fighting art. Yet originally it was a very effective and powerful system of fighting.
SanDa (Shanshou):
A relatively new martial art, which was originally developed by the Chinese military based upon intense study of various traditional methods.
