Abstract: At present, the development of digital cultural industry, both at home and abroad, presents the characteristics of strategic development, deep integration and industrial interconnection, showing a strong growth momentum and extensive infiltration. Based on the rapid development of 5G, big data, cloud computing, block chain and other technologies as well as the rapid growth of China’s cultural consumption market, the digital culture in China has entered an explosive growth period, and online games, netnews, short video, online literature and other typical new business forms have developed rapidly. But it needs to be noted that the digital cultural industry in China still has some choking points in industrial cognition, industrial structure, industrial factor and industrial competitiveness. Some of these problems are conceptual issues, some are industrial policy issues, and still some are technological innovation restrictions. In the future, we need to take an across-the-board stance and start with factors, service, governance and international competitiveness to rapidly improve the development efficiency of China’s digital cultural industry and to promote the digital cultural industry to a new level of high-quality development.
