Chang Jiwen, Vice-Director-General of the Institute for Resources and Environment Policies (IREP) of the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC) and Wu Ping, Deputy Director of IREP’s Research Lab for Laws and Governance met with Janet Mccabe, Deputy Administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and her fellows on Mar 1.
They exchanged views on rule of law in environmental protection, regional air quality management, environmental monitoring and measuresto cope with climate change. Mr. Ji also explained some other issues the US government is concerned about.
The talk will promote China's environmental policies.
Professor Xiao Qiang,from the Department of Humanity and Law at Tianjin Polytechnic University was also present.
