The Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC)'s Research Institute of Resources and Environment Policies held a meeting with Mike Baker, World Animal Protection CEO, in Beijing, on June 18, where they discussed wild animal protection in China and foreign countries as well as the two organizations' research cooperation in the future.
Gao Shiji, Director-General of the DRC's Research Institute of Resources and Environment Policies, and Mike Baker signed a three-year cooperative research memorandum during the meeting.
Taking part in the meeting were Zhang Xiaohai, Executive Secretary-General of Beijing Loving Animals Foundation, who is coordinator representative of the project; Chang Jiwen, Vice-Director-General, and Luo Dongmei, Chen Jianpeng, and Wu Ping, from the Research Institute of Resources and Environment Policies.
