In order to implement the "Joint Communique" of the Second China-France High Level Economic and Financial Dialogue and promote the exchange and cooperation between Chinese and French think tanks in economic and social policy areas, Mr. Li Wei, President of the Development Research Center (DRC) of State Council, and Mr. Jean Pisani-Ferry, Director of France Stratégie (CGSP), signed Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutions in Beijing on November 24, 2014.

Both parties agreed to include the quality of growth, aging policy engagement, policy evaluation and public investment as the main areas for exchange and cooperation in the near future. Maurice Gourdault-Montagne, French ambassador to China, and Mr. Zhang Laiming, Vice President of DRC, were present at the signing ceremony.
