Abstract:
Stanford University is the founder for contemporary technology transfer in American universities. The OTL model invented by the university has become the standard model for technology transfer by the American universities. The technology transfer by universities in the form of OTL has produced win-win result. The Bayh-Dole Act of 1980 has directly triggered a tide of technology transfer in the US universities. The universities have clear-cut orientations in the process of technology transfer.
